I wonder if he was aware that you were taking his picture. Maybe he was so intent on rest that nothing else mattered.
SING A SONG OF SHADOWS
Sing a song of shadows Taller than a tree! Sing a song of shadows Wider than the sea! Sing a song of shadows Dancing in the sun! Sing a song of shadows— Day is almost done!
This gentleman has worked hard all his years. Yet,in his long life, there is time to work and the time relax, to recharge. He obviously knows the time and place, and you have captured him perfectly in that perfect place!
What a wonderful photo. Is the man resting or having a moment of reflection? I know that the man is an older gentleman and is sitting down, but his shadow looks like a young boy standing.
Thank you all for comments. Little explanation for this photo: This is an unknown old man who sat on the grass for a little rest. He didn't knew that I photographed him. Martim, on which shadow do you think? Shadow in front the old man is his shadow, on the left side is the shadow of a pole, and around there were many shadows of trees. There's something else about this photography, but more about that in next post :)
what an amazing collection of beautiful photos you have in your blog! they truly say so much about you. I don't feel very comfortable taking black and white photos but I simply love your work. congrats :)
