Beautiful captures :)
Nice!Shadows are the great equalizer, something that everyone has.
great shots.great question!~robert
Very nice shadow shots--I always love how your shadow changes depending on the angle of the sun. Those that make you look 10 feet tall are always fun. Who are you? Only you know for sure--and sometimes you don't even really know who you are. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)
Marvelous shadow shots for the day, Tatjana! And, yes, the perfect question! Hope you have a lovely weekend!Sylvia
They are strolling along with their shadow for company.
Wow! You could do a whole series (maybe two dozen or more shots) of the same scene with different actors. I'm impressed!I LOVE MY SHADOWI love my shadow,My shadow loves me;We chat togetherAnd don’t disagree! My shadow and IPrefer not to shoutAs we go walkingAnd rambling about. My shadow’s so wise,I ask what she thinks; She’s happy to share,And then nods and winks. My shadow and IAre best buds, you see; That’s why we try hardTo always agree!© 2011 by Magical Mystical TeacherArroyo Shadows
some days it is hard to remember...and the shadows we cast are maps to bring us home to find out.
Under the sun, we seem to have our doubles in the form of a shadow. The shadows showcase the motion of the subjects, if not their moods. What we all see here is a beautiful day at the beach!
Shadowy figures, lost in their thoughts. Nice captures.
Wonderful shots. I wonder what they are thinking as they gaze downwards.
Nice photos and a question for meditation while you sit - or walk ...
GREAT QUESTION TO ACCOMPANY WONDERFUL PHOTOS.
I've no idea - but wonderful photos!
We can only imagine...and wonder about the stories they could tell of their day!Great shadow captures!
Great photos! I wonder about the first one, does her shadow match herself? To me it looks like the shadow is asking her.. Amazing!
very atmospheric shots - love them!!
I don't know who the woman is, but the man is a worker on the roads, I think!
Excellent photos, Tatjana. Very good question. A lot of people couldn't answer it beyond giving their names.— KKay, Alberta, CanadaAn Unfittie's Guide to Adventurous Travel
hmmm...not a clue..first thought of Marilyn Monroe but she had a much trimmer figure...so, nope, no idea...on the first or the second. Wonder where you came up with these?? Fun photos for SSS.
Such perfect title for the lovely photos!
Nice captures of walking people and their shadows. Who are they really?
I do love shots like these, where the shadow seems to have a life of its own. Nice!
Love these shots. We can only imagine where they are going... Great work!
wonderful shotsthe woman reminds me a bit of Marilyn Monroe
You are the best at shadows and black and white! That lady is kind of funny walking on the beach in her dress and heels. Wonder where she came from and why?
A wonderful contrast in two different walks of life with their shadows as the defining element that pulls them together.Very nicely done!!
These are intriguing photos. You have me wondering about their stories.
Very pretty shadow shots! Please come and see my shadow shots, have a great weekend!
Great shadows for the week! Love the contrast of b/w and colour!
Great shots Tatiana!
Beautiful shots. I like the black and white one the most. :)
Like the top shot, a most a 1950s feel FO it.
wonderful! i have a collection of found photos that I have no idea who the people are ... its fun wondering ..
beautiful shots! :)
excellent shadow shots
Composition of the 2nd shot is lovely, reality and shadow forms a right angle!TQ for visiting n commenting on my post: Light and Shade.
splendid artwork Tatjana - so well done !!!cordially isabella
Very nice. Love the photos.
Tatjanna they will always keep us guessing as to who they are ? Clear crisp shadow shots girl !Joy
Very personal shadows. Well done!
Great shots! I love that their posture is so similar...
The first one looks a little like Maryline Monroe !
Nice shadow shots! The first one is very Hollywood-esque. Looks like Marilyn Monroe walking there...and I'm sure she asked herself that very same "Who am I?" question. Happy Sunday!
They both seem to be deep in thought. The woman is striding quite purposefully, the man seems to be sauntering. Great shots! Do you know who they are?

What great shots! I love how you can look at the photographs and make up a story about what they are doing and thinking! Stopped by from Shadow Shot Sunday (thanks for stopping by mine as well).Hugs, antonella :-)
The perfect question.....who are you???? What wonderful shots. I cannot pick a favorite. They are both excellent. genie
We are not our shadows though sometimes we forget. Your artist eye scores another direct hit.
There is something about seeing your own shadow that is haunting and fascinating! Lovely photos!
Nice catch. Leading all the way.
Awesome shadow shots! I remember playing with my own shadow as a child..
Beautiful shadow shots on the sandy beach!
Sometimes a shadow is better than the model... :)Have a good week!
You are quite brilliant. Thanks for visiting! Cottage Country!
Interesting idea to capture different people at the same spot! Very cool. The lady is so dressed up while the man is so dressed down! Thanks for stopping by. ;-)
Cool shots. I love how the lady's shadow is holding her head like she might have a headache. Makes you wonder about the secret lives of shadows.
very beautiful and interesting photo's!
These two certainly look like they come from different walks of life. Nice shots to make you think!
i love the contrasts between the two "actors" but then we really are so much a like, all of us!
Those are fabulous-and what a great question to pair it with!
Nice work and question !Greetings from France,Pierrehttp://pierre-boyer.blogspot.com/
Beautiful shots. I know you're posting a deeper question but that top photo looks like Marilyn Munroe (can't be I suppose if you took it) or Shelley Winters (who is now too old to look like that). I haven't the foggiest clue about the 2nd man. I tend to agree with Kay Davies, that most people wouldn't know the answer to the question you post. Very compelling post.
deux belles photos de rue, avec l'ombre qui precede le passantMerci d'avoir participer au challenge "Walk In The Street Photography"
Thank you all for comments.Regards and best wishes for all
Awesome shadow shots! Well done. Have a great weekend.
our shadows are the closest thing next to us.
Great pics, you have a way of telling stories with your photographs.
Interesting how we tend to look down as we walk. I often wonder about the lives of those I see walking in the street.
I noticed the same thing that many did, both figures, whoever they are, had their head cast downward. Maybe looking at their own shadows as they move and sway with the cadence of their steps. Very nice shadow shots.Peace
Very nice captures! Thanks for sharing;o)¤ Hope you are having a nice and happy weekend ¤
Very philosophical question, Tatjana! Great shots:)
