Very nice shadow shots--I always love how your shadow changes depending on the angle of the sun. Those that make you look 10 feet tall are always fun. Who are you? Only you know for sure--and sometimes you don't even really know who you are. Have a lovely weekend. Mickie :)
Under the sun, we seem to have our doubles in the form of a shadow. The shadows showcase the motion of the subjects, if not their moods. What we all see here is a beautiful day at the beach!
hmmm...not a clue..first thought of Marilyn Monroe but she had a much trimmer figure...so, nope, no idea...on the first or the second. Wonder where you came up with these?? Fun photos for SSS.
Nice shadow shots! The first one is very Hollywood-esque. Looks like Marilyn Monroe walking there...and I'm sure she asked herself that very same "Who am I?" question. Happy Sunday!
Hello Tatjanna! My first visit, will visit you again. Seriously, I thoroughly enjoyed your posts.Great shots!!! Congrats for your work. If you wish to follow back that would be great I'm at http://nelsonsouzza.blogspot.com Thanks for sharing!
Another stunning piece of work! Hope this finds you well and blessed, and know that you are making me smile and inspiring me to Photograph EVERYTHING!!!!
PS: I am now a follower--I signed up last week, but some glitches would not allow me to add you to my Blog Roll! It was on my end, and I hope it works this time!
What great shots! I love how you can look at the photographs and make up a story about what they are doing and thinking! Stopped by from Shadow Shot Sunday (thanks for stopping by mine as well). Hugs, antonella :-)
Beautiful shots. I know you're posting a deeper question but that top photo looks like Marilyn Munroe (can't be I suppose if you took it) or Shelley Winters (who is now too old to look like that). I haven't the foggiest clue about the 2nd man. I tend to agree with Kay Davies, that most people wouldn't know the answer to the question you post. Very compelling post.
I noticed the same thing that many did, both figures, whoever they are, had their head cast downward. Maybe looking at their own shadows as they move and sway with the cadence of their steps. Very nice shadow shots.
Great shadow shots with a question to make me think! Thanks so much for calling by News From Italy last week and leaving me a comment, hope to see you there again.
Beautiful captures :)
ReplyDeleteNice!
ReplyDeleteShadows are the great equalizer, something that everyone has.

They are strolling along with their shadow for company.
ReplyDeleteWow! You could do a whole series (maybe two dozen or more shots) of the same scene with different actors. I'm impressed!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE MY SHADOW
I love my shadow,
My shadow loves me;
We chat together
And don’t disagree!
My shadow and I
Prefer not to shout
As we go walking
And rambling about.
My shadow’s so wise,
I ask what she thinks;
She’s happy to share,
And then nods and winks.
My shadow and I
Are best buds, you see;
That’s why we try hard
To always agree!

some days it is hard to remember...and the shadows we cast are maps to bring us home to find out.
ReplyDeleteUnder the sun, we seem to have our doubles in the form of a shadow. The shadows showcase the motion of the subjects, if not their moods. What we all see here is a beautiful day at the beach!

Great photos! I wonder about the first one, does her shadow match herself? To me it looks like the shadow is asking her.. Amazing!
ReplyDeletevery atmospheric shots - love them!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know who the woman is, but the man is a worker on the roads, I think!
ReplyDeleteExcellent photos, Tatjana. Very good question. A lot of people couldn't answer it beyond giving their names.

ReplyDeleteThey both seem to be deep in thought. The woman is striding quite purposefully, the man seems to be sauntering. Great shots! Do you know who they are?

ReplyDeleteGreat pics, you have a way of telling stories with your photographs.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how we tend to look down as we walk. I often wonder about the lives of those I see walking in the street.
ReplyDeleteI noticed the same thing that many did, both figures, whoever they are, had their head cast downward. Maybe looking at their own shadows as they move and sway with the cadence of their steps. Very nice shadow shots.
